With so many new types of products coming across, certainly petting has become a lot easier and fun. As compared to digs, cats tend to mess up more at home, especially when they defecate. This can be frustrating at times and also make your home smelly. The problem will arise more if your carpets get messed up because of this problem. Hence, for your betterment, you can certainly keep an automatic cat litter box at home. It helps to clean the waste that cats leave in the box automatically and thus, remove it easily without leaving the odor behind. Furthermore, make sure the place is very convenient to reach and is never near the carpet. This way you cat will never litter on your carpet even if the nature's call is urgent. Also, you must look for a place where not many people are there. Give you cat a private or a semi­private area to ease herself/himself. 



Cleaning is the important thing

Generally self cleaning litter box doesn't have to be cleaned manually; the solid waste and wet clumps gets scooped out automatically. However, make sure that the litter box is odor free or else you cat will never go there or will never use the same. 

The automated litter box should be open

Generally, cats don’t prefer the box that is completely covered. Therefore, you need to choose the litter box that is open. Avoid placing it near the carpet area, or else, your cat may consider it a part of the area where they are supposed to defecate. Hence, making your cat understand where to litter and where not, is an arduous task; however, with a bit of caution and patience you will be able to train him/her well.
